BEGINNING TO UNDERSTAND...

In this body of work I am interested in exploring the wonders of masculine and feminine psychology through the use of functional cabinetry. The work is based on the dynamics of male and female relationships and looks to investigate the self as a necessary subject in understanding misconceptions of male and female sex roles. Many of the concepts that I choose to explore are based on common stereotypes as well as direct and indirect experiences. My goal in creating this body of work is to make the user or viewer aware of their own attitudes and beliefs on these universal issues.
