SLIDESHOW, Cardboard Becomes Electric
Slideshow from my 2015 spring Residency at SUNY Purchase College. Special thanks to Jon Binzen for putting it together.
SLOW MOTION VIDEO, Woodturning
This is a slow motion video that was filmed at the Anderson Ranch Art Center in the summer of 2016. I taught two wood/cardboard turning workshops to some beautiful people. Special thanks to Golan Levin's class for the fun slo-mo video!
CORRUGATED PATTERNS
This video was produced during a week-long workshop led by FCPX master Larry Jordan and hosted by the Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass Village, Colorado (andersonranch.org). The workshop was called Video Storytelling; the 10-person class broke into three teams and each team produced a short series of mini-documentaries.
The subject of this mini-documentary is Jason Schneider. He is the Furniture Design and Woodworking Studio Coordinator at the Anderson Ranch, and makes fine furniture with the same material the UPS driver handles every day: corrugated cardboard.
Jason is originally from Clifton, N.J., and received his B.F.A. in furniture design from William Paterson University in Wayne, N.J. and his M.F.A. in furniture design from San Diego State University in San Diego, California.
